Arrival Context
Upon arrival, I took over the **deployment plans**, the **supervision** and **ticketing** tools, and toured the **sensitive zones** (press, ticketing, high-density areas). Immediate objective: understand the topology, locate critical points, and align expectations.
Internship Objectives
- Assimilate the architecture: **segmentation** (VLAN), **high-density Wi-Fi**, **QoS**, and services (DHCP/DNS).
- Contribute to **supervision**: useful indicators, contextualized thresholds, "event" view.
- Improve operational **documentation**: "public" diagrams, checklists, playbooks.
- Participate in **support**: rapid diagnosis, escalation, concise post-mortem.
Expected Deliverables
- **Unified** maps (homogeneous legends/naming) with a "public" version.
- **Intervention Playbooks** (diagnosis → escalation → post-mortem).
- Short reports on **Wi-Fi quality** (trends, priority zones, attention points).
Confidentiality: sensitive information (public IPs, SSIDs, identifiers) are anonymized or reformulated.
Work Method
- **Double loop**: field (symptoms) ↔ NOC (metrics) for quick decision-making.
- **Short iterations**: tests on small zones, feedback, threshold/template adjustments.
- **Living Docs**: versioning, pre-opening checklist, short debrief after closing.
First Actions Completed
- Reading plans and **zoning** of priority spaces.
- Rapid audit of **existing diagrams** and proposal for a common template.
- Field verification: consistent **VLAN/DHCP**, **throughput** tests at key points.
